Jason Rulo CSCS, CISSN, HFS

Degree: Bachelor of Science in Health Management/ Fitness and Sports Medicine from
Southeast Missouri State University.
Certifications: American College of Sports Medicine certified Health/ Fitness Specialist, National Strength and Conditioning Association Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, International Society of Sports Nutrition Certified, IDEA Recognized Master Personal Fitness Trainer.
Experience: He's trained nearly 1,400 personal training clients of all ages and backgrounds, initially in Tampa, FL, and then in St. Louis. Intern-Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach at the University of South Florida. Intern-Strength and Conditioning Coach for the New York Yankees during the 2002 Spring Training. High School Strength and Conditioning/ Basketball Coach in St. Louis, MO. 2005 Show Me Naturals Bantamweight Bodybuilding Champion. In addition, he was a participant at the Jason has also competed at the Obstacle Course Racing World Championships in 2015 - 2017.
Since starting Pinnacle in 2003, Jason has also presented at numerous clinics and seminars across to the region in order to pass on his knowledge and experience to a broader range of people. In addition, he writes articles for the sport of Obstacle Course racing for both Obstacle Racing Media and Mud Run Guide. When he’s not doing all of the above Jason is spending his time running Neptune Performance Products and promoting the Neptune Thermoregulation System which he invented.

Mr. Rulo has made it a lifelong goal to improve the health and fitness levels of those who need his assistance. He's had the opportunity to implement his system with over 1,400 personal training clients of various ages and ability level. He also implemented programs with over 250 athletes of various levels. His exercise programs, along with the diet tips, have been so successful with such a wide variety of people that Mr. Rulo believes his system can help virtually anyone achieve the results they are looking for whether it's through traditional training or with the online program. Kari Morgan MS

Degree: MS in Human Performance from Lindenwood University, BS in Exercise Science

Experience: Kari is a St. Louis native who has several years experience as a sports performance coach and personal trainer. She began her career as an intern for the HIT Center and then as a Graduate Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach at Lindenwood University. Kari also has experience as a College Instructor in Health and Fitness Sciences and as a Personal Training Certification Course Instructor. She specializes in high intensity training and strength and conditioning programs. She has experience working with diverse populations including collegiate athletes, disabled athletes and general population. Kari loves being a mentor to inspire and motivate her clients to reach their highest potential.

Tom Kelso MS, MSCC, CSCS

Experience: Tom is the current Performance Specialist at the St. Louis Police Academy as well as at the St. Louis Metro Police Department. Prior to becoming a Performance Coach at Pinnacle in 2008, Tom spent 23 years as a strength and conditioning coach at the college level as the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach at four schools. Most recently, Coordinator of Strength and Conditioning at Saint Louis University (2004-2008). Head Coach for Strength and Conditioning at the University of Illinois at Chicago (2001-2004), Southeast Missouri State University (1991-2001), and the University of Florida (1988-1990). Started in the strength and conditioning field as an Assistant Strength Coach at Florida in 1984, where he was also a weight training instructor for the Department of Physical Education from 1985 to 1988. A former track athlete at the University of Iowa, Kelso was a graduate assistant for the Western Illinois University men's track and field team in 1982-83 and was a men's and women's assistant track and field coach at Central Missouri State University in 1983-84.
He has worked with athletesat the Olympic and professional levels, presented at various clinics and seminars and has worked several athletic-related camps. A strong advocate of safe, practical and time-efficient training, Kelso has had numerous articles and book chapters published promoting those ideals. In addition to training clients, he has also published The Ultimate Interval & Circuit Training Training Manual, The Strength Training Workout Encyclopedia and The Interval Training Manual.
